Simple to install
I would highly recommend anyone having trouble filling your gas tank to install this canister. The old one was filled with dust and dirt and would not let the gasoline fill the tank without shutting off every few seconds. Easy to change. You need 6" of 5/8" heater hose and 2 clamps. If you can't get the old hose off, just cut it and use the heater hose to connect the new one. GM should change the location as it is close to back tires where dirt flies up and clogs the canister. It could be cured by a dust cover.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Did the job!
Worked on a 2007 Chevy Silverado. My truck had the newer version with the length of hose to get the extra part out of the dust. This part that I purchased worked just fine and was easier to install. Auto zone wanted $85.00 for the updated version which came on the 2007 and later models. So happy that I read the reviews about this part and saved $60.00.
