It is a great pedal except for the fact it's plastic. I wouldn't use my foot to stomp on it. But if you treat it gently it's actually really cool. Just use your hand to put pressure on its button and it will be gracious and give you exactly what you expect from a compression pedal.

I bought this pedal hoping to get the old Ibanez sound without spending a lot of money. Although it didn't cost much it doesn't get the old Ibanez sound. It's easy to use and fun to play with but I really wouldn't recommend it. You can get a different Behringer compressor pedal which is much better than this one. Good value and it works, but it’s incredibly noisy. Took it to my local guitar shop and asked them if it was somehow user error, tried it on multiple amps and different chord and guitar combos, super noisy on all. Depends on what you're looking for.
After trying a few compressors (including the MXR dyna comp, which I hated) I found the Behringer CL9 was exactly what I was looking for: Something to eliminate peaks without noticeably adding gain to my signal. Sure it's plastic, but I set this pedal and forget it so I won't be stomping it anyway.
