The very first Marshall amp, made back in 1962, was the JTM45. It was an instant hit and launched a whole new generation of groundbreaking guitar players and sounds. Since then, connoisseurs of tone have sought out rare original JTM45s from the ’60s.
The hunt for the first amp from Jim Marshall ends with the JTM45. This Marshall Guitar amp gives you warm vintage sustain sound and crystal clear tones. Included in this Marshall vintage amp is GZ34 valve rectification, so you have identical sound coming out of this baby, as the original. The subtle shift of harmonics caused by GZ34 valve rectification in this Marshall Guitar amp gives you sensuous and smooth tones. This Marshall vintage amp flaunts 3 ECC83 preamp valves and 2 5881 power amp valves making your strum pronounced and emphatic, and at the same time soft and smooth. With a 3 band EQ, the JTM45 is all set to rock the stage with you and your strum.
Everything they advertised and more, top quality parts, hand wired and all the Marshall tones, low input on low intensity is a perfect clone of the original JTM 45 head, on high intensity it could pass as an original blues beaker, high input on low intensity is like an old JCM 800, on high intensity it's like a newer higher gain model, great versatility, takes to pedals in the front end very well, I use mostly MXR and Boss, all of witch highlight the pure tube tones of this masterfully built amp nicely.
Ordered this for a future build, it matches the handles on my other cabs perfectly! Perfect for replacing any Marshall handle. Definitely recommend this for anyone wanting to update an old cab or matching old gear to new gear!!
