I felt the product sat on top of my face and needed a carrier oil to penetrate. I wouldn’t call it moisturizing. I’m not sure what it should smell like. I’m new to the product. I use this product after derma-rolling, it is amazing. My age spots are disappearing and the texture of my skin is improving. It has a slight smell but that is normal with these type of products...it isn't unbearable but I use it at night only. I like the smaller samples as opposed to the full size product because they don't oxidize because no air exposure...plus they are easy to travel with.
