I found Sebastian Shaper Plus Extra Hold Hairspray about 30 years ago and I have used nothing else since. My hair is stick straight and starting to thin with my advanced age. Also, I like big hair - don’t judge. I dry roll my hair, heat it up with a hairdryer, let it cool, take it down, then back comb for loft, and spray the dickens out of it with my Sebastian Shaper PLUS (when they say extra hold, they mean it.). My hair stays in place, but doesn’t get sticky in humid Florida weather. AND…Shaper or Shaper Plus brushes out of your hair at the end of the day. I don’t brush out my short hairdo … I sleep on it and the Shaper Plus keeps most of the style in place. Just a few touch ups and I’m good to go the next day. Great hairspray. It’s light and workable and the hold is amazing. During styling, if you need to adjust the style after spraying, give it a free seconds to “dry” then continue on. Once styled, give it a final spray and your hold is there for the day and beyond. I normally do not wash my long hair every day and sometimes I wait till every third day and the curl/body I add to my STRAIGHT hair with a flat and curling iron holds that long. Just a quick brush and a light spray and I’m good to go.
