The game is a modified game of the japanese climax hero and after playing this game it's not as simple as it looks. But when you break it down the game is a very simplistic brawler. Some design choices are unfaithful to the show such as getting interrupted when using cards, which creates many frustrating moments especially when you try to perform your finisher. This game could have been better except it didn't. Also... Guard mode SUCKS! It's a terrible frustrating challenge and the programmers must have had brain injuries to create something this stupid. Clearing out enemies should have just been in a single boxed area because it is so boring. Music is very dull and doesn't even have the courtesy of having the dragon knight opening theme on the title screen(Unless you have to wait for it which I'm not here to listen to the theme I'm here to play the game). But overall despite the bad design choices, this game is worth a purchase for some local multiplayer. Unless you have a japanese wii console to play the actual climax hero games, than this is as close as American can get to playing that game here.Read full review
