Pickups are not know for ride quality or handling. The last truck shocks I put on my truck made it ride like the Queen Mary. Kind of just swaying as it followed and exadurated road imperfections. Small series of bumps shook the emtire truck. A failure of a front shocl at around 20k miles sent me to serching for replacements. I did a lot of research and ordered the KYB Monomax. Had read they were a little harsh but I like the ride. Expansion joints disappear, as well as Texas Railroed crossing that can put your head through the roof. A 4400 lb truck needs a stiff shock if you want to use it as a truck. Any shock will do if you're driving your kids to school or soccer practice. The Monomax dampens all the bumps, dips, pot holes, ruts, rocks, and dirt roads a truck can run across. The street ride is better and more secure feeling than the previous gas shocks were when new. Already made the decision the Monomax will be the only shock I'll ever buy.Read full review

Great shocks at an excellent price. Easy to install on my F-150 and the difference in the ride was immediately noticeable.
