I just used it for my 4 year old nephew yesterday for the first time and it was so easy to install and I felt that he was very safe while sitting in the seat. I always trust the Graco name and they lived up to their reputation with this booster seat.

No padding at all. Very hard seat, despite looks of padding in photos. Does not work well with curved seats. Difficult to fasten seat belt because of where the seat is positioned in a car with curved back seats. It doesn't take much curve to put the booster seat toward the middle of the car, completely covering the seat belt to be fastened around the child. I had to have the child raise herself up so that I could raise the seat. The whole process leaves me skeptical of the seat's safety. Nothing anchors it in place, except the set belt, which seems to allow for movement until locked by brakes. The child who used it said it was comfortable. We used it for in-town errands, so have not tried it on a long trip yet.

Don’t waste ur time or money searching for the perfect car seat that converts into 4 different things claiming to grow with ur child, I tried that and my kid hated it. This Graco booster seat w dual cup holders is the perfect booster. You will love the ease of transferring, cleaning, & reasonable price with excellent safety rating. Don’t waste ur money or time thinking the car seats that “grow with ur child” will keep u from having to buy a new one as ur kid grows. Those, I tried, & it was a a waste of my money and my child said it wasn’t comfy which made car rides dreadful. This is the best booster, especially for the price along with having the comfort knowing it has an excellent safety rating. It’s easily moved from seat to seat in ur car, or one vehicle to another...& won’t leave permanent indentions on ur cars seats, which is a huge plus. Easily removable cover, which can be thrown in the washing machine & replaced, once cleaned, with ease. No complicated straps or anything to figure out when u remove cover to wash and replace it back onto booster, it’s a breeze totaled off and on. Excellent booster seat, that’s safe and a great value. The only booster I’d buy. We bought a few for grandparents and both vehicles. But, it transfers so easily, if your not wanting to spend the extra money on multiple boosters for all the vehicles it CHild rides in, switching this booster from car to car and seat to seat is so stinking easy, and it’s not bulky or a hassle. It feels unsafe because there is nothing holding it in place. I wish I hadn't bought it. It there was an accident I feel like the seat would slide out from under the child and then the seat belt would be loose and not hold the child in place. I just wasted my money because now i have to buy a safer seat that is fastened to the car.
