We have a split-king bed with two different mattresses. My wife prefers a softer, plush bed and I prefer something more Spartan. As a result, her mattress is roughly 7.5" taller than mine and after making the bed, there is a noticeable height difference in the blankets and coverings. Hard to snuggle when there is such a difference; I felt like I was in a hole. Searching for a way to lower her side of the bed proved fruitless [legs non-adjustable] so the only other option was to raise mine [or get out the hacks saw and whack off the legs, something I did not consider as a viable option]. We went to all of the local bedding stores and none had risers tall enough to "even the score" so to speak, not even through special order. So, enter trusty eBay. Within moments, SCORE!!!! Well if you need to give your bed a lift, this is a good somewhat unglamorous way to do it. 2 sets of 4 risers that appear real sturdy and give you the option of raising a bed high, higher, or when stacked on each other to nosebleed ridiculousness. Very inexpensive so if you don't like you haven't lost much. We'll see just how much I like them in months to come.

They work great and they do just what I wanted them to do. Three inches in diameter for the legs to fit doesn't seem like much, but it is more than ample for what I needed. They are 6 inches square at the base of the larger pieces. To me, they are larger than what they look like in the pictures, but I would buy them again.
