Had I known this was the same version, I definitely wouldn’t have purchased it. It’s entertaining but the words are hard to see through the dark liquid. Not the quality I remember as a kid.

It would be entertaining enough for an 8 year old, but the fortune was often hard to read and required some shaking to make it visible. I used to have one when I was a child in the 60's and the quality was much better. Today's 8 Ball is cheaply made and is much lower quality.
