I bought this because I had an old intercom system that had a lot of static when I used the talk/listen function. I opened the unit and sprayed the circuit board and around the resistors and potentiometers. I noticed no residue left on board . Dried instantly. Product is good for general use, not for an electronics repair bench. I used this on some new wafer switches that were laying out and had been lightly covered with pollen (time of year, not outside, all inside work). this stuff dried it out the Bakelite so badly until i had to use regular wd-40 to make the Bakelite swell back up so the contacts would touch. It may be good as a general use, 110 outlets, and other around the home, but for sensitive electronics, NO WAY! guess we will have to stick with Deoxit.

I used this product to clean electrical contacts, plugs and wire connections in my car's engine. Over the years a lot of dirt, grease and gunk had accumulated on many of these contacts and switches, reducing the quality of good contact and affecting engine in various ways. The nozzle is quite long and firmly in place and the jet of cleaner speed out is of good power so hard to reach places can be soaked in the cleaner and the power of the jet blows away a lot of the grime as well. I do feel it is a bit pricey compared to the standard stuff you buy in a good value auto parts shop but the quality is very good and it gets the job done.
