Product Information

The Traxxas 2872X LiPo battery is a high performance power cell engineered to meet the most demanding RC needs. Its innovative semi-rigid construction means that this unit can offer greater capacity for a given size and eliminates the need for a hard case. Users can also more easily monitor the condition of their power cell and identify signs of wear and tear. This power cell has been custom engineered for Traxxas RC models including helicopters, cars, and trucks. It features wide surface gold-plated terminals, a balance wire connection, and shrouded easy-grip connectors to ensure maximum performance at all times. Additionally, the Traxxas 2872X LiPo-Battery is equipped with a MAXX cable high-efficiency 12 gauge silicone jacketed wire and is impossible to connect backwards. Another practical feature is the integrated Traxxas iD. This means the optimum charge settings will be automatically identified for a specific battery pack.

Amazing battery
This is my first time to use Lipo batteries. I got them for my 2wd slash and after using them it’s crazy the difference the battery makes. Now of the 2 batteries I received, one of them was dead.. I contacted Traxxas and got a free replacement sent to my house in 3 days. Traxxas has great and easy customer service.

BLOATED BATTERIES
I don't know why. but every traxxas lipo battery I have after a couple charge cycles begins to bloat..I don't know what causes it because I use the traxxas ID charger .They seem to still work fine but the batteries are all puffy and don't fit in the truck very good any more and for what you pay for them is a shame..I guess I'll just find a different brand and see what happens ..I wouldn't recommend these.

I know i bought it as a used item, so i didnt expect for it to be brand new, but it does have alot of swelling, and idk if the battery was the cause, but the first time i ran it my motor got hot and smoked a little, it still runs, but i use the battery very minimally.

Long lasting and great added power.
I really like this Laipo battery. The ID makes it quicker and faster to pop it in for a charge. Last quite a while. It added lots of power to my stampede 4 x 4 VXL. My only gripe is I wish it fit in the battery tray. My simple solution was to strap the battery to the battery hold down. Then install it so that the battery is sitting on top of the battery hold down. When bashing just check it sometimes to make sure it's still secure.

Great batteries
These batteries were better than the original batteries that I got with boat. They just have one wire. Not like the original version with two wires and hard to charge. These batteries have just one wire!
