Does everything it says it does, fairly well.. I just wish it did a little more.
For what it tries to do, it succeeds pretty well.
I mean, we can only judge a product against it's intended uses and functions, not against our own personal desires, right? The tracker really does work fine. It's not *perfect* at understanding what's going on when I'm on the treadmill (the accelerometer isn't sure I'm moving).. but it definitely tracks some steps. It also tells the time to the nearest 5 minutes.. though sometimes it seems to drop or gain 5-10 minutes... but re-syncing it seems to fix that when it does happen.
Super light, super easy to leave on my wrist.. no problems sleeping with it on.. and it does a fine job of figuring out when I was asleep and when I woke up.
All in all, I'm pleased with it. It does the things it says it does.. the app works with MyFitnessPal, and it's all just quite good.
But it's not the tracker I *WISH* it was. But for that, I think I'd have to shell out more money, on a more modern 'smart watch'... something with extra features like timers and stopwatch functions, media controllers, things like that.
But for what this device is trying to be, it does a fantastic job. And if you happen to find a good price on one, and all you need is a basic fitness tracker that gives you an idea of how active you've been without being obsessively precise, with decent app support and connectivity, and a very basic 'watch' function to boot.. Something that will just run on cheap, replaceable batteries and always 'be on'.. I honestly can say that this little gem will do ya.Read full review
