this is an outrageous surrealistic romp, embracing multiple genres: mystery, horror, camp, humor, sci-fi...and it is loving done with an attention to character and detail...a very beautiful but entirely strange piece of work!

I was a big fan of the original Twin Peaks TV show and was hoping this new one would answer some questions and tie up a few loose ends. Unfortunately it did neither. The first several episodes were barely watchable, but I sat though them and eventually it got better with the Agent Cooper in Las Vegas scenes. The ones that took place in Twin Peaks were good too, but most of the others were just filler and I fast forwarded though them whenever there was little movement which is a sure sign of something weird and boring upcoming which made no sense. One episode's second half was completely fast forwarded which showed atomic blasts and explosions in slow motion and repetitive scenes with people walking around a dark gas station. It was like someone experiencing a bad acid trip. It was nice to see many familiar faces in the town of Twin Peaks again and at least the situations of Dougie and Janie Jones, and Big Ed and Norma Jennings ended happily. For everyone else, life just goes on, except for Agent Cooper who gets no closure after appearing to have saved Laura Palmer from her original fate, just to get stuck with her in another strange situation. Since there will never be another Twin Peaks show, at least give us viewers a good ending. Maybe in another 25 years?Read full review

Absolutely perfect and the cheapest version on the market, totally worth it! If you're like me then you actually read reviews on products before you buy them and I'm telling you, this is a top notch item. If you've seen TP before and are a fan, then we're on the same page, the missing page ;) If you've never seen this, then I urge you to buy this and watch it at home, in the dark and get ready for a roller coaster of a show. I'm very happy with it. Damn Good Coffee.

Twenty-five years later, David Lynch finally delivered season 3 as promised by season 2. Same characters, but a little bit of a different vibe than the first two previous seasons. The fate of agent Dale Cooper is finally revealed. Questions answered with more question. Definitely worth a watch for all twin peaks and lynch fans!

Twin peaks - When this aired I was working so I recorded the episodes and watched them later. Wen I got around to watching I thought the recordings were damaged or had some kind of no copy protection. The first episode looked nothing like the original program, strange colors and an annoying 'white noise' background. My recording were not damaged. I think this was just too avant garde for my taste. As far as the product; eight DVD disks crammed into a single box, I say 'crammed' because the box bulges and does not close completely . MY suggestion is to remove disk #8 to a separate box or sleeve, since disk # 8 contains only 'special Features',

this remake had no plot. nothing to do with the original series. even the bizareness had nothing to do with the original. complete waste of time. each episode ended making the watcher wonder what just happened. the most boring series i've ever seen. can't believe it got produced. actors didn't have to worry about memorizing lines. most of the time, they just stared into space. ended up tossing the video out, without watching most of it.

I am a huge twin peaks fan. I used to look forward to the show on broadcast tv. Then much later I bought the dvd set and re watched it. I had high hopes for the revisit. It’s pretty out there. Some parts I really liked. Others not so much. (I know everyone’s a critic) it was always slow moving but really—-3 or 4 minutes of watching a guy sweep a floor in a bar ? You need to get it if you are a fan to make your own call.

I'm a fan of David Lynch and of course the music of Angelo Badalamenti Love the weirdness, the over the topness. Not as convincing as say Mullholland Drive or earlier classics but worth the time to check it out. See what he can do as an oldie. Altogether, a good product.

Wish more TV programs were of this genre. Spellbinding, compelling, fascinating. Utterly brilliant.

loved the series when it first aired, loved re-watching! ((and wanting more!!!)) i legit hated the original series and loathed FWWM for a slew of reasons, but after seeing Lynch's continued evolution, i've gone back, rewatched the series and film, and have a greater appreciation of his vision. ... i imagine it's too much to ask for more, so for now i'll just say this body of work is just incredible.
