Back mounting plate (Screw holes) has to be modified…
Nice product, but the back mounting plate screws holes had to be re-drilled to allow the door handle to be correctly positioned to where the original door handle was located. The door handle had to be shifted upward. If this but not done correctly, there would be a large gap showing from the door handle into the door… I highly recommend using Stainless steel Nylok nuts and washers to secure the hex bolts. You can get all of this at an Ace Hardware…

Ranger door handle
The new handle arrived quickly. The material seems to be similar to the original, but the finish is shiny rather than matte. The two holes in the mounting plate for the rivets did not line up with the existing holes in the door as well as I would have have liked. Easy fix with a cordless drill and 1/4” drill, though.

Cheap plastic handle, broke again with less than 6 months of use. Spend a couple extra dollars to get a metal one so you don’t have to go through and replace it again like I do…
