Faithful modeling of the classic tube architecture gives the Tone Master all the headroom, output, and reactivity of the original at a massive weight savings — just 23 lbs. A solid pine cabinet further shaves off poundage. A 12" Jensen N12K in the Tone Master delivers a massive, defined low end and a sweet top-end sparkle at a greatly reduced weight. Around back, a 5-way power attenuator transparently reduces wattage to let you achieve just the right tube-flavored cluck and breakup for any live and studio setting.

Lightweight and good sounding Fender Tone Master Deluxe
I bought this amp primarily because of the light weight. I have always liked the looks of this amp, especially in blackface. I have been playing out since the early 70s so my ears aren't the best but I like the sound and cant tell it from my tube amps. I do like the on board tremolo better than the pedals I have and the reverb is fine. For a grab and go amp, this is a cut above in my opinion and the controls and knobs are familiar to most of the guitarists out there. The pine is fine for the weight but if it was painted dark inside, it would look better from behind......I guess that's just a man thing.. Everything I want it to be. Costs more than a modeling amp with many choices but I wanted the vintage look, which it has, and the vintage sound, which it has. The Fender Deluxe Reverb Amp is an outstanding performer.
I would recommend this amp to any serious guitar player. You can adjust the output from the power amp to use it in your bedroom, or crank it up and use it at a gig.
