In a bold Fender first, the Tone Master Deluxe Reverb amplifier uses massive digital processing power to achieve a single remarkable sonic feat: faithfully modeling the circuitry and 22-watt power output of an original Deluxe tube amp.
Lightweight and good sounding Fender Tone Master Deluxe
I bought this amp primarily because of the light weight. I have always liked the looks of this amp, especially in blackface. I have been playing out since the early 70s so my ears aren't the best but I like the sound and cant tell it from my tube amps. I do like the on board tremolo better than the pedals I have and the reverb is fine. For a grab and go amp, this is a cut above in my opinion and the controls and knobs are familiar to most of the guitarists out there. The pine is fine for the weight but if it was painted dark inside, it would look better from behind......I guess that's just a man thing.. If you are young, you will like this amp.....if you're over 65 like me, you need this amp. I would like to see a Vibrolux model come out
Tone Master Deluxe Reverb is all is supposed to be
Everything I want it to be. Costs more than a modeling amp with many choices but I wanted the vintage look, which it has, and the vintage sound, which it has. It is an exact sounding copy of the original valve/tube amp I once knew. In short, I love it and am about to go play around with it.
The Fender Deluxe Reverb Amp is an outstanding performer.
I would recommend this amp to any serious guitar player. You can adjust the output from the power amp to use it in your bedroom, or crank it up and use it at a gig. There is no significant difference between this sound and the tube amp and this amp only weighs 24 Lbs.
Long time tube amp user. This Tone-Master sounds good. The Watt selector is very handy. I wanted a lighter amp. I got it and didn't lose any tone in the process. Super-clean on Rickenbacker-12. Warm overdrive when pushed. 24-lbs! Handsome! Iconic! Very happy.
