I received my Avene Cicalfate Repair Cream yesterday. When I removed the seal from the tube, a watery substance spilled from the tube. I tried to shake it and knead it, but water continued to come out of the tube. I finally did get some white, watery cream from the tube. There is not much cream in the tube, and what is in there looks and smells exactly like Desitin Diaper Rash Ointment. I don’t know if the liquid and the cream separated in transit, or if it is old (doesn’t expire until 8/20), or if this is not the real thing. Spring water is listed as the 1st ingredient, so maybe it just separated. I have never purchased it before, so I don’t know. I have read other reviews on the Internet from people who have had the same issue. 4/18 - I wanted to update my review. After a week of kneading and shaking the tube, the water and the cream blended together. The product did an excellent job of soothing and healing my irritated skin. It took about a week for my skin to completely heal. Whenever my skin feels irritated I use this and the irritation goes away. I would recommend it.Read full review
