This product goes on the skin silky smooth, and has a very pleasant light odor;. At 73, I've decided it was time to give my skin a boost, and this has proven to be a perfect product for morning use (at night I use the Neutragena Rapid Wrinkle Repair). Since starting this about a month ago, I've found my skin to be much 'plumper" and smoother, and the wrinkles that I had have almost completely gone away. A note- since this is water gel, it could be more drying to dry skin, in which case switching to the gel-cream version may be better. I don't think anyone has mentioned it, but when using this (or any product that contains retinol), it is very important to wear a sun blocker or just avoid the sun. Not doing so could possible cause the skin to burn or develop a rash. I've personally found this to be a great product with no negatives and will continue to use it. Going as far back to the original Neutrogena Rainbath Shower Gel the product I believe was the beginning of the myriad of quality products they make today.
