The dimensions that were posted from the mfg in the product description is a little off. The length and width are almost exact. The height, however is a bit shy of what was described. The height given was at 5 inches. This is the reason I purchased it. I figured it was the area inside the case. I mean this is what is used to cover the item, right. Well the 5 inch stated height is actually the outside of the case and the inside is at 4 1/8 inches. Big difference. One of my 1/18 Muscle Machines Diecast just barely fit. Just be sure your item will fit inside at 4 1/8 inches. Other than that the case is very nice.

These cases make great cost effective dust free homes for my 1/144 scale models. Wouldn't fit 4 engine models very well but works great for single engine or 2 engine WWII aircraft or jets. Depending on various sizes can usually get 5-8 different 1/144 models into 1 case comfortably. Excellent bang for the buck.

Hobby Shops seems to be fading faster than the Edsel marketplace of 1958, so finding diecast display cases is no easy trick, and having to buy something so potentially breakable online and having it shipped is not easy on the nerves, but the two were well packaged, and well packed, so they arrived in fine shape, and in relatively good time.
