I bought it to use as a monitor for filmmaking with ...my Canon M50. I wanted to test if it will improve my workflow and if 7" is good size, without sparing too much cash. I am actually very pleased with how it performs. Downsides are bad color temperature reproduction and bad visibility at an angle, but besides that it's great! I can manual focus better than with focus peaking on camera in-built 3" screen. 7" is just the right size for planning your shots, now I know I won't go with 5" monitors in the future. Also the resolution is fine, everything looks sharp. Of course it lacks ANY features of a proper video monitor, like zebras or waveform, it just outputs what the camera transmits through HDMI. With 2x money you can get some basic proper monitor, but you need to buy dedicated monitor battery and charger (more money!) while this thing can run from a USB powerbank! It says it needs 2A of power, but I managed to power it from a 1A device. In the end I recommend this monitor to every weekend warrior who wants to ramp up his filmmaking without straining the house budget.

This review is ...for: Ultra Thin 15.6" LCD Portable Monitor PC Screen USB/2*Mini HDMI For Raspberry PI --- This is an excellent 15.6 portable monitor. Its well made, constructed of an aluminum body, had two stereo speakers, and lots of connections including two input mini-HDMI connections, so you could hook-up two different video sources to it. It also has other useful connections such as a mini USB and USB-type C. It came with a stand, power supply and full HDMI to mini HDMI cable. I used this monitor as an additional monitor on a Windows 10 Pro based PC, that is currently running (4) 27" monitors (needed a 5th smaller monitor for a specialized reason.) Its resolution is 3200 x 1800 which is very good. Not quite the full 4K standard resolution but much better then standard 1080p full HD, which is 1920 x 1080. If you are going to use this monitor or any 4K monitor, just make sure that your graphics card is a newer one, that can output full 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) and you'll have no problem running this monitor in Windows 10, as long as you have a good graphics card that support this higher resolution.

I use this monitor as visual and audio aid in ...setting up my RV sat system. With the use of a used sat receiver, this 7” monitor and a sat finder meter I’m able to set up the sat dish without needing to run back and forth from the interior of the RV to where I needed to place the dish. I know before plugging the dish into the RV sat feed system that I have the right satellite with good signal..... sat dish setup takes no more than 2 minutes for setup time. Even though I use this system with SD at this point in time, HD setup will be just as easy in the future.

Very nice moni...tor. I use this to config smaller systems like raspberry Pi but I have also used this to configure Macs and other headless desktops. The av options are great as you can use everything from RCA, to VGA all the way to HDMI. The built in speakers are actually pretty good tho I don't really use them but they can actually get pretty loud with some base. Colors out of the box look a little washed out but I haven't calibrated it at all. Overall for the money very well done and an added bonus is this can be powered via USB only! A+

This is a great little portable monitor, but di...dn't work with my Fire TV Stick 4k . Tried a variety of troubleshooting steps with no results. Works fine with the older Fire TV Stick though.
