Fairly easy to replace if you are comfortable with electronics. Speaker is tingy and no Touch ID but definitely easier than replacing all the components. Pretty much just plug and play. Just be mindful of how tiny the parts are and if you have never replaced phone parts you might not want to try. You can damage one of the sockets and risky if you damage it.
The ribbon cables were just a little bit off which made installation a pain as they did not want to rest over their designated connector. Had to bend them over a bit to get into place. As for the home button cable, that was a huge pain. Spent 15 minutes just on that one! Anyways, PPI is noticeably lower but only if you know what you're looking at. Your average human would probably never be able to tell. Screen is relatively rigid and shows almost no signs of distortion when pressure is applied which is indicative of a sturdy glass digitizer. Response is excellent and so is FPS.
Best for the price but I would maybe go a different route next time just because the ribbon cables were so annoying.
This is the first iPhone screen I've replaced, so I can't make any comparisons. It was easy to install, fit my phone, and works fine. I like that it comes with plastic covers to keep the screen clean while you complete the work.
This product came in defected. I detach the original screen (cracked in the corner) and snapped both the digitizer and LCD connectors in place, and there were many vertical lines across the screen indicating the screen was a defective one and it was not properly tested before. I put back my old cracked screen and the display was normal.
Upon close side-by-side inspection, this is not an "original" iPhone 5s LCD screen claimed in the title. The rubber gasket for the ambient light sensor and microphone has different sizes comparing with the original iPhone5s screen, and the two anchor points for the speakers are also in the wrong place (and much thinner). The title of "original iPhone 5S LCD screen" is misleading.
