Almost a perfect replacement.
The key-fob on my wife's 2007 Honda Pilot stopped working and one of the previous reviews that I read stated that electronic transmitter that comes inside this replacement key shell is the exact size as the original transmitter and was a direct swap into the original key shell. This was NOT the case for me as new transmitter case was slightly larger and while I could still squeeze it into the old key case with a little force the lock button would get jammed due to the tight fit and couldn't be depressed. I ended opening up the new transmitter case itself and removing the battery and small electronic circuit board from inside it and swapped it into the old transmitter case and then put the whole thing back into the old key shell. Once I did this the buttons worked correctly and I was able to program the new transmitter easily by following instruction on YouTube video. This was a small inconvenience but still better than paying $90 to get a new OEM key-fob.Read full review

Honda Key Fob
Wow. This is a great find! I paid $160 at a local dealership to replace a stolen key and thought that's the way it has to be. When another key went bad electronically, I could not bring myself to spend that much again. An independent Honda shop recommended that I look online, and I got this one for $12. All I did was use my old key (which still worked) and replaced the buttons, which fit perfectly. I programed it to my car by watching an easy video on YouTube and everything works great! I did not have to cut a new key, but that should be easy and inexpensive also.
