When my Panasonic microwave failed 10 days before Thanksgiving, I wondered if the problem could be something simple like a door switch or a thermal breaker. After removing about five screws and sliding the cover off, the problem was instantly obvious, a cracked case on the door switch caused weak spring force on the switched connection. In this case I also needed to replace a spade lug and some electrical tape available at a local auto parts store. But the switch had to be shipped, and that only took about four days-- Thanksgiving was saved, for less than $10!

This replaces the Omron door switch of Panasonic microwave oven. The model is V-15G-3C25-K but It is a perfect replacement for the old V-15G-3C25. The old switch leaks electricity as the oven door is open, the turner plate starts turning by itself. When replacing it, you have to make sure the new switch is at off status or your microwave oven light will be on when you connect the power. The oven works like new with the new switch.

The top door switch in our 11-y.o. Panasonic microwave burned out, causing the turntable to turn with the door open. The part number was V-15G-3C25. This replacement is identical except for having a "K" at the end. Installed the new switch with no problems of fit or performance.
