The JBL EON610 10" Sound Reinforcement Speaker is an active, 2 way speaker rated at 500 watts. This fully portable studio and live venue speaker weighs just 26.0 lb and features a built-in wireless receiver and microphone input alongside the standard PA inputs and outputs. Additionally, an input gain control allows for full range configuration in a larger system.
A great speaker with plenty of power and good sound
This is my second EON 610, purchased to make a pair for small events Some reviews mention concerns with build quality, rattles, or low volume. I have experienced no problems whatsoever with either of my EON 610's. The bi-amp totals 1000W peak power. Highs are crisp, and lows are better than what I would expect from a 10" woofer. A pair of these will fit into my Ford Focus hatchback with no problem, in addition to a small SKB rack box, a notebook computer, and various cords, etc. One star held back because this speaker lacks separate bass and treble controls. The Bluetooth application allows you create custom response curves, and while it works, it is a bit difficult to use on the fly. It requires toting along a tablet or smart phone to make the adjustments. Twistable knobs would be quicker and more direct. Also note that Bluetooth is for control only, and does not support sending audio to the speaker.Read full review
A bit of a different use case here. We’ve got a several acre backyard, with one large area specifically getting a lot of fun outdoor activity. While I used to DJ many years ago, I don’t have this type of gear any longer, and attempted to use a JBL Extreme or JBL Partybox to meet our outdoor party music needs, but neither could handle the need. The JBL extreme speakers started barking from being pushed too hard, and the Partybox simply cannot properly fill the space as we want either.
The EON One looked interesting, though I did want something that could reach further. I liked the idea of streaming audio Bluetooth capability of the EON One, but I ended up opting for the EON610 since it was cheaper, and I felt this model would have enough volume, punch and ability to fill out space with sound. I checked other model speakers with notably lower price tags, but since in the past I’ve had several other JBL speakers including previous EON series speakers, I felt confident in buying the EON610. The EON610 doesn’t disappoint, the lows of the EON610 are perfectly adequate for our audio needs, the highs are crisp, and the EON610 easily fills our outdoor space with plenty of sound, without needing to max out the built-in amp, or nearing any limits, unlike smaller units. Granted I did need to buy a small 4-channel mixer with the streaming Bluetooth audio capability that we wanted. I wouldn’t have done anything differently if I had another chance.Read full review
this is a superb smaller powered speaker. JBL makes fine stuff. Power cable and a line or mic input, and sound comes out! It can be adjusted with bluetooth connected tablets or phones.
This JBL EON works very well. It's used as a floor monitor and has plenty of volume.
2 channels with combo XLT/1/4" jacks so it makes a good keyboard amp as well.

Outstanding sound quality, easy to use, Flexibly handles diverse inputs. Strong bass response for such a compact speaker! Very happy with every aspect of this powered speaker. App is very nice, too.
