    The perfect knife?

Robust is right; this knife is very stout and my everyday go-to. I have many knives including more expensive Moras and this is just about the best. I pair it with a big survival knife or the Mora Garberg for wilderness exploration / bush-craft and take it as my only knife hiking and snowshoeing. The quality is amazing for the price. Even the sheath is decent. The handle shape is excellent, the rubber out grips well and is comfortable even with extended use - more comfortable than the Garberg. The blade is great and very sharp from the factory. It's slightly shorter than the Companion but thicker but not too thick for great slicing and feather stick making. The only thing I would change is the spine of the blade which is too dull for ferro rod striking - a moment on a belt sander fixed this but it's not Garberg sharp. All around it is a super knife at a hard to believe price - twelve bucks!

Very good knife but not great.

First I want to say, I own several Mora knives and I am a Mora fan, I believe they make really fine quality knives at a very good price point. Here's what I don't like about this knife. The blade thickness only measured 1.9 mm on my micrometer. I believe it is a bit too thin and my first impression was it looked thin visually upon unboxing. In comparison my Mora Heavy Duty Companion measures 3.2 mm (thickness). Here's what I do like about this knife: I like the width of the blade. Its a bit wider than my Mora Companion. I also like the handle design with the wider hilt/guard as opposed to the smaller guard on the Heavy Duty Companion. I would call the Mora Pro S a small knife but with an adequate size handle but if you are a very large man with really big hands this knife might be too small. I was considering making this my all purpose (go to) carry in the woods knife but it's just too small for me. That being said, I didn't take the time to look at the full specs on this knife before purchasing so I blame no one but myself. It is well made high quality at great value. I will probably end up giving this one away as a gift.

  • My first Morakniv and happy

First of all glad I bought this knife. The knife came razor sharp. Very comfortable and sturdy feeling handle, not sure how the handle would hold up to any abuse but that's what my Gerber ultimate survival is for so this should last me a very long time. Never had a sheath like this either but it will be in my pack so not worried about it getting a bit weak how it holds the knife in or the belt clip. I always keep a knife or two in my pack and wanted one with a shorter blade length and this is just what I was wanting. This was worth every penny and I'm now a Morakniv fan. Great addition.

  • First knives for grandsons.

I like to take my two oldest grandsons camping. They love it. For Christmas this year, I decided to get them their first knife. They each received a Pro S with their names laser engraved on them. These are the perfect size for growing boys. The blade is long enough to be useful for most tasks and short enough to not be cumbersome. The finger guard handles are comfortable for them while having room to grow.

  • Top quality knife, excellent value.

Excellent quality with a very low price. This is my second Mora knife purchase. Great knife to go in my fishing knife. No worries with stainless and black rubber handle is grips very well with cold wet hands.

  • Emergency Kit Knife

The knife is a good size for most uses. Fits good in my average size hands. The knife was very sharp out of the package and should work for my needs for years to come. I bought a carbon steel version of the same knife to use with my fire steel. Great knife at a great price.

  • This knife is just great.

Great knife razor sharp. Feels good in hand with over-mold handle sides. I love this knife some times I edc this knife, series I switch out for my Ontario rat 1, 2, or spiderco para 2. But this thing is great I have the kansbol and garberg but this thing is still a winner and is much cheaper then the other options.

  • Extraordinary value, Swedish quality.

Hard to find a knife with better value. For $15 you get an extremely sharp Swedish made fixed blade that will last for years. You can do anything with this knife that you would do with a $100+ knife and it may even outperform many of the knives in that price range.

  • Exceptional Quality for a Low Price

Knife is sturdy and razor sharp out of the box. Sliced up some paper no problem. Kinda wished I had opted for a larger blade to better fillet fish but for $12 I can't complain. I'll just have to get another. The handle is quite comfortable and sturdy and the Pro S Stainless steel shouldn't rust as easily as the carbon steel. The sheath is a hard plastic and the blade clicks in, only it's not reversible for the left handed such as myself. Can't beat the price for quality like this.

  • Impressive for the money

A well made handle, fit and finish are pretty good, blade is very sharp. I bought these for my boat, SS vs the carbon, and showed them to my kids at Christmas. Error on my part, I lost them and had to buy more...lol.
