does not feel the same as the OEM product. The OEM Sonicare toothbrushes last much longer. The bristles on these replacement toothbrushes will bend back and loosing shape within two to three of weeks of use. There is also a strong oily smell coming from the magnets inside the handle for the first couple of weeks. The seal around the toothbrush and the head that attaches to the handle allows more water than normal creating a murky color water that needs to be rinse out every time. There are so many knockoffs of this product that it's really difficult to find the real ones. Even the packaging has been counterfeited on some of them. But when you find the real deal, it's unmistakeable. How to tell the difference? I don't know of an easy foolproof way. The only thing you can do is examine the packaging thoroughly. Make sure it has the Phillips and Sonicare trademarks. The shaft of the brush should say "Sonicare" or "e-Series." If the price is so low and it seems like the deal is too good to be true, it is a knock-off. Even if it passes all those tests, you may still have a knockoff. The final test is if it performs the way it's supposed to, It's probably the real deal but even some of the knockoffs can give you decent performance. But it doesn't have to be an arm and a leg. Ebay has been a great source for this product and the price is always right. Since I've been using this brush system my teeth have been in much better health. My dentist has even commented on it. This brush is soft enough to not bother my teeth yet strong enough to keep my teeth clean and fresh. I always go with the softest bristle since the brush is so good there's no need for a hard or even medium bristle. The head is easily swapped and keep clean. I recommend cleaning your brush head and the inside of the battery side to get the most out of your brush. If it gets dirty inside it'll noticeably slow the head down. Otherwise it's maintenance free. Give it a shot and you'll find your teeth smooth as silk and healthy gums.
