The pieces snap together very securely. The handle is nice and recesses into the lid making the top surface flat which I LOVE so I can stack other things in top of it. The odor from the deviled eggs once inside the container is comparable to any other tupperware type deviled egg container. The only slight downfall is to keep it so compact they have each "slot" very close together. This makes it a tad difficult to fill your deviled eggs while they are in the actual container. If it wasnt for that one minor flaw I would have given it 5 stars.

At this point the item works, it has only been used once. Clean up was easy. It saves transporting problems much better than a glass deviled egg dish. I would recommend not washing it other than top rack of a dishwasher. Where I feel the problem will be is lifespan of the product. The way the top and bottom sections snap together look like a future location of possible breakage. Lifespan will probably be determined on how often you use the item.
