Screen came with everything needed to install it. Works good, has good sensitivity. Slight ghosting occurs where an app that you've had open for several minutes leaves a ghost image behind for a minute or so. Ghost goes away and doesn't detract too much from normal use.

The screen and everything I needed to replace the screen were present but the screwdriver that was provided didn't do me any justice. The screwdriver stripped several of the screws and was not of good quality, so I had to buy a new screwdriver and replace some of the screws. Finding a new screwdriver wasn't the issue finding the screws specifically for the inside of my phone was difficult. A one day thing turned into an unexpected week long project. None the less it was finished eventually, but I would suggest getting better quality tools instead of using the ones provided.

I first bought one of these screens about two months ago because mine was cracked. when it arrived, I had it installed. I wasn't even out of the store when it started acting up. Parts of the screen refused to register my touch, while other parts responded if i breathed too close to it. Before i even went to bed that night, the whole screen was completely f*cked. So I had it takes off, returned it, and had a replacement sent. This time, when i had the replacement installed, these white bands popped up on the screen and won't go away. nearly a third of the screen is pretty much covered and I can't see what's under/behind it. A couple hours after I had it installed, it started doing the same sh*t as the first one. It's been on for almost a week and is still (barely) usable, but I've already placed an order from another company for third replacement. I had the screens installed at the Verizon Store (AKA by professionals), so it was definitely the screen at fault. Also: don't be fooled by the yard sale of items that come with the screen. You won't even take 70% of that stuff out of the bag. One of the "Installation equipment pieces" is a guitar pick for Christ's sake! I wish I could give this less than one star. Moral of my angry rant: DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!Read full review

The first one I bought it had parts of the screen that I couldn't touch (the w,a,s,x keys) which was annoying but manageable since I could tilt the screen and use those letters. After a day it starting to act even more finicky, along with registering touches when nothing was touching the screen. This made it impossible to work with since if you wanted to touch/swipe it would recognize it as a enlarge/make smaller pinch movement (since it was still registering another touch that wasn't there). I thought it couldn't get worse but the next day that it would make multiple random touches, swipes, and pinches... essentially you could not leave an app open unless you wanted to risk purchasing something of texting a person you haven't talked to in years. So I asked for a replacement, seller said I needed to send it back before I get a refund, and having no phone for a couple weeks was not an option. So I bought another one, thinking I got a bad apple, and low and behold THE SAME PROBLEM OCCURRED WITH THE NEW ONE. At this point i was fuming, so I bought from another seller (maybe I am installing it wrong or my phone is at fault, not the screen) but the new screen worked, NO PROBLEM. I have returned both screens back to this seller. Do not buy this one, buy the fully assembled screen, it not only saves you time, but a lot of headache as well.Read full review

I had iPhone 5 with a cracked screen. Decided to purchase screen online , mainly to save money, The issue was when attaching patch cables to the phone, the first attachment went as advertised. You could actually hear the click. With the second attachment I was unable to get a good connection, per instructions it states that a clicking sound would be notice , ( no clicking sound ) I assume this is to insure a proper connection. After several attempts I decided to take iphine to the phone doctor for assistance. The connections were examined under a microscope. At this point you could see the damage on the new existing patch cable. The thousand dollar question, were the connection damage prior to my repair attempt or did I damage the connection?. I guess we will never know, I do know the first attachment I made was successful, knowing this I feel I had the understanding and experience with the re-connect. I am not upset, especially since the item I purchase was inexpensive, however, the amount of time spent on repair was disappointing, in addition to the time spent with the phone doctor. As I mentioned, I'm not mad but disappointed of the failure. Sincerely ScottRead full review
