This arrived with 4 of the pieces still wholly attached to some metal bar. Required pliers to break the 4 figures off the metal bar, thereby causing light damage to the design and leaving sharp shrapnel on the bottom of those 4 figurines. I don't own metal files, and these figures were bought for my young son to paint and use... so, now I have to go to the store and spend $10-20 on a set of metal files and I sure hope there's no lead in these...

Unlike the other reviewer I do research before I buy stuff on the internet. These are metal minis on a SPRU. You'll need spru cutters and a hobby knife/file to remove the extra metal. The models themselves are very nice (and that's what should be reviewed anyhow)
