I first learned of the Vortex brand when I selected a rifle scope for my .308. The 6-24 x 50 Vortex Viper PST has all the features of comparable scopes; however, those others are more than twice the price. As a result, I decided to take a chance on the scope and it is perfect and at an outstanding discount to competitor brands. This is my reasoning for choosing Vortex binoculars. I originally looked at the Talon line; however, I read that these Diamondbacks feature 90% of the features of the top of the line binoculars at once again, twice the price. I am very pleased with the Diamondback binoculars. The image is very detailed and the size is perfect, "Not too big and not too small." To me the most outstanding feature is the ability to pick up light at dark. If you choose these binoculars you will not be disappointed and your wallet will be very happy.Read full review

Well first of all I own several Vortex products and I own a few Eagle Optic Ranger ED Binos, which are basically Vortex. Eagle Optic is parent company of Vortex. The Ranger ED are about as good as the Vortex Vipers. Well these Diamondbacks have been made over, they are now lighter and appear to have even better Glass. I was able to glass a hillside today during the last 10mins of light and at about 1200 yards. These Binos are excellent value at an excellent price! I bought these for my son and man I'm am impressed. As I said, I own better more expensive quality and these are just a tad less than those. During the light you may not notice that much of a difference. Great quality and best of all the unconditional warranty is just awesome. Don't hesitate to buy these. If you don't like them, you can sell them in a heartbeat to anybody who knows of them. Also this ebay seller is great. Super fast shipping!Read full review

I would highly recommend owning a pair of these binoculars. The clarity is awsome and well constructed. I had seen them advertised on TV but never gave them a real thought until my friend let me look through his 10x42 diamond backs. There was no comparison to the ones we both used to use for hunting and site seeing, I just had to have them ....lol. I felt they were worth the money. I spent the afternoon glassing hill sides and had the honor of watching a few black bears foraging. What a great day .

These are not your every day run of the mill glasses. I was very pleased with the quality of the lenses and the construction of the glasses. They are so very awesome because they are very sharp to the outside edges of the lenses. The images are very clear at whatever distance I chose to view and they focus very smoothly. I was pleased at how easily the eye cups could be repositioned to use with or without glasses. They are light and easy to use, though not as light as some of the cheaper made $20+ glasses that are constructed of thin plastics. I don't believe that any other binocular regardless of the brand or price could be any better than these. Thanks Vortex for a great set of Binoculars at an affordable price.
