Had been searching for an original Simanco bobbin case for my Singer Featherweight. The bobbin case that was in my Featherweight was a replacement one 45751 which does not fit the machine properly. When sewing with the replacement case, it would continually fall out of the machine. I finally found this original bobbin case that is in excellent condition and it works great and no more frustrations and I can sew once again with my Featherweight.

After reading several reviews of bobbin cases for the Singer featherweight 221, we decided on this one. It arrived about five or six business days later and my wife was in great anticipation waiting to try it out. She found after installing a bobbin into this new bobbin case, it worked exactly as described! She is now excited to use her “new” Singer Featherweight! The look and design is exact as the original (that was so corroded from age, etc., it failed to work at all). We would recommend this item to anyone who is looking to restore Featherweight model 221 with a working bobbin case.

The case is in good condition and is what I was expecting. The price is high because of limited supply; and if you need one, there is no substitute. A machine that will run a 45751 will also run a 45750 but not vice-versa. The 45751's are cheep and being produced currently (you see them everywhere), but not the 45750's. The only 45750's are original Singer units. I picked this one up as a backup/spare incase something should happen to one of my 2 featherweights bobbin cases (both use 45750's).

Machine wouldn't sew with this bobbin, typical reproduction bobbin issue, thread wouldn't slide over it properly. Hung up on third stitch tangled and breaks thread every time.

Looks great but when you use it on a 221, the thread does not slide across the face of the case instead it slips into the crack and jams. It is close to being correct but missed the mark by a millimeter

It doesn't work. The thread just jams in the bobbin area on all four featherweights and two 301's. The original bobbin cases work like they are supposed to This was to be a spare, it just doesn't work.
