This is the harmonica I had as a kid and wanted my son to have. It's a perfect model to start with giving you all the rich tones for basic blues playing. It's easy to manipulate and forgiving of errors. Bending may be a bit of a challenge, but it can be done. If you''re looking for a great device to spend some time lazying about creatively, pick this little guy up. You won't be disappointed and you'll have a lot of fun.

Hohner harps have always been of excellent quality, yet this model is more of a noisy toy! The saying "You get what you pay for" in this case, is true.I was going the economical method and checked out a cheap harp. I would not recommend this harp for anyone, especially a beginner. It does not feel or sound like a true musical instrument. .

For $10 it's a great deal, its comfortable and easy to use, it sounds like any other C harmonica, I thought because it was for blues it would sound different.. but it sounds the same, normally I can go about an hour but with this I can go about half the day without getting chapped lips. It's got soft reeds I'm used to steel reeds I do find myself bouncing back to my old harps to get the extra sound effects but it has turned into my new #1 go to harp

I love Hohner harmonicas, but this one wasn't the greatest. It was very inexpensive, under $10 shipped. I bought it to throw in My back pack and carry along. With harmonicas you really do get what you pay for. I have a cheap Fender Blues Deluxe harmonica around the same price that sounds so much better. More expensive Hohners sound amazing, go for those if you want a better instrument. The more expensive ones are made in Germany, not China and the difference is very noticeable.

Hohner harmonicas are among the best made. Even though most of us can make do with the less expensive ones, Hohner does make high end models when you are ready to move up. This model, Bluesband, is one of their oldest creations and is excellent for beginners. It is easy to play and proxuces a very good sound. It is well worth the money.
