If you are doing an upgrade to your engine by adding a new balancer make sure you up grade the balancer bolt with an ARP bolt. With the high torque needed to tighten this bolt why trust the OEM bolt. This ARP is tested to 2,000 ftlb of torque and with the 12 sided bolt you can be sure you wont strip this fastener. I used this bolt on my rebuilt LS6 and it worked great.
