Item (3) is a 'press-in' seal ornament that has been changed/upgraded. Original has a soft, solid rubber body construction that tears around the 'thin wall' fender shaped skirt. After unthreading antenna mast (2), mask around antenna bore to protect paint. Then use a medium duck-bill plier and a sharp thin blade to cut and rip out the solid rubber core from around the mast base. Take care not to cut off more rubber than is required to slip on the the new hollow 'Ornament'. Do not cut into the lower ball seat that snaps into the base end of 'Same'. Apply a thin layer of 'Silicone Dielectric Grease' to both the upper surface of ball seat and inner surface of the 'Ornament' base. Remove masking and position 'Same' over ball and push down to snap and seat onto the fender. Good luck.
