Worked well for my application. Problem fixed. Good price.
This unit arrived quickly and well packaged. Fit our application perfectly(2008 Jeep Liberty) and fixed its problem. The Jeep belongs to my elderly parents who didnt tell me that the AC in the Jeep had stopped working last summer. Fast forward to a month ago, and now their jeep wont shift correctly and is overheating. This they tell me about! The problem was this AC condenser unit of course since its dual purpose is as a condenser for the AC system and as a transmission fluid cooler. Theirs had rotted out on the bottom and lost all the AC refrigerant first and, later the transmission fluid. This unit was a perfect replacement and easy to replace-as long as you have to tools and desire to do so by yourself. Remember to purchase AC refrigerant and AC lubricant as well as a few quarts of transmission fluid if you do plan on doing the job yourself. I would also suggest replacing both the transmission cooling supply and return lines since if this condenser is rotted out, those lines wont be far behind.Read full review
