Making its debut on the Nintendo DS system, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days introduces players to a thrilling new story line in the Hearts universe, featuring many of the same Disney and Final Fantasy characters from previous versions. In this fifth game of the series, you play as Roxas and join his friend Axel and Xion, the mysterious 14th member of Organization XIII, on a journey across vibrant, anime-based worlds. The plot of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, which had a release date in 2009, is completely original and follows the adventures of Roxas and Xion with many new challenges. Gamers who have not played any of the previous Kingdom Hearts video games as well as longtime fans will get hours of fun out of this DS game as the character development provided by introducing Xion takes Kingdom Hearts in a new direction. The same elements that make the whole series so captivating can be found in this game, and after a hard day of fighting battles, you can visit a Moogle shop and recharge.Due to the wireless and dual-screen capabilities of the portable console, this game offers a multiplayer mode where you connect with up to four other systems to control any Organization XIII characters, with their unique skills and weapons, and take on a variety of missions in both cooperative and competitive battles. Secret characters like Riku and King Mickey can be unlocked during multiplayer gaming as well. Single-player mode in this version of Kingdom Hearts uses a mechanic known as the panel system, which allows the player to customize their character's levels, items, equipment, and abilities. The game also features Limit Breaks that recharge a character for a brief period when their health is low.To play to the advantages that a portable console like the Nintendo DS provides, this game offers players a new action RPG combat system. The navigation system of this video game is new as well. Nintendo's portable cartridges are generally region free, so this game will work in the United Kingdom and other English-speaking areas.Throughout Kingdom Hearts, which is rated E for Everyone, Roxas must fight his way through numerous areas inspired by the Final Fantasy video games as well as a number of Disney properties, such as Agrabah from Aladdin and Never Land from Peter Pan. Players will have plenty to deal with in 358/2 Days. Because he is one of the Nobodies, Roxas does not actually have his own memories, and Xemnas wants to absorb him and become a strangely coded reincarnation of Sora from Kingdom Hearts II. Throughout the game, Roxas learn about his past and the intricacies of Organization XIII.Your task is to help Roxas and ensure he gets through each day. Every mission gets progressively harder, but completing each mission with a high rating gets you a valuable reward. Animators worked on high-quality cut scenes that play whenever you complete objectives and mini-games.

Lightweight with hours of play time and fun leveling and growth
This is not my favorite kingdom hearts game - however, it is a fun little title to play. It is all about completing "missions" as a member of Organization XIII, which is a bit blocky in terms of gameplay (doesn't allow for a whole lot of exploration and free play), but there are some neat features, like being able to play as different members of the organization. It's a great way to pass the time if you are feeling low energy and just need something to do. The story is kind of lukewarm - it's a bit nauseating and doesn't provide anything really of substance. At the same time, it remains hopeful and light unlike a lot of games out there with violent and dark themes - it's all about "heartfulness," friendship, and growing up. I recommend it to all ages, but particularly to younger children/adults. Enjoy!Read full review

Amazing addition to any Kingdom Hearts fan’s collection
The item was in phenomenal shape, with no damage to the case, manual, or cartridge. While it may be less loved than other entries in the Kingdom Hearts saga, it holds a special place in my heart, as it delves deeper into the stories behind Roxas, Axel, and the rest of Organization XIII. It’s a phenomenal story, and one that every Kingdom Hearts fan should experience firsthand. I highly recommend this game to anyone, especially at this fantastic price.

Compelling Story, Love the gameplay!
When I first started this game I thought it would just be some fanservice for fans of Roxas and Axel. Not even halfway done and the story is so cool already! Considering its a pretty old game the graphics are great! I love that you get to play through each day of the story. Highly recommended! :)
