If you are planning on installing the Rack in a 69-72 Nova that has a LS engine, the engine will need to be shimmed up to gain enough clearance between the oil pan and Rack. I also had to die grind the left mounting hole so the rack can be bolted to the subframe. The in and out fittings are to close to the oil pan, but after shimming the engine and die grinding the left mounting hole I barely had enough room for fittings. The input to the rack needs a double D coupler and I had to grind one of the flat sides of the input to install the coupler. The brand of the double D coupler is “Flamming River” P/N FLA-FR1920 it’s a low profile chromoly. You will need all the clearance you can get. Maybe a different brand would fit better. I only had to remove .010 and the coupler fit. Over all it turned out great. If you are building a hotrod there will always be modifications.Read full review
