I have a small kitchen and live alone so do not need a full size food processor. This machine is perfect for my needs and the only time I wish for something bigger is if I am making something to take somewhere to serve many more people. Definitely a first world problem I know! It is no big deal to just do a couple batches. The only flaw I have noticed is that food can sometimes get stuck between the shoot and whatever the plunger thing is called and depending on what it is, say a carrot it is very hard to get the shoot from the chute. That is why I am not giving five stars. I wish it fit a little tighter. That said, I highly recommend this product.

I bought 2 models of this blender ood processor because my daughter had one that was stolen, and she missed it a lot. So I got one for her and one for me for Christmas. I like all of the power features of the blender. The only thing that I don't like is the way the blender unit fits onto the base. It is very unwieldy to me. Sometimes it takes me a few minutes to get the blender unit to fit correctly. I think that this aspect of the blender unit could have been better designed. I have seen complaints that the unit is noisy, but I do not feel that the noise level is inappropriate for the unit. I compared the noise level to my old blender, and the Cuisinart unit is slightly quieter. I mainly use the food processing unit to puree fruit for my baking projects. The food processing attachment is large enough for my needs, and it purees foods (like cooked pumpkin) to a smooth texture rapidly and efficiently. Compared to my old blender, it cut the time to 1/3 of the time that I used to spend processing a similar amount of pumpkin. I am very pleased about that. I have wanted a food processor for a very long time, but I couldn't afford a great quality one. I also wanted a blender. When I saw the combo I was ecstatic. I had both items I wanted at a great price and an excellent brand. Needless to say, I am well pleased. Thank you!
