You stand on what remains of the ancient city of Erinoch, destroyed by a dragon a millenium ago. Ahead of you lies the Labyrinth of Eternity where you are sure you will find your long lost mentor, Mordamir.
In The Immortal, you assume the role of a wizard in pursuit of his former master. As you travel through the six levels of the Labyrinth of Eternity, you'll have to use your wits to avoid booby traps. You'll also need your skills in fighting and wizardry to defeat any goblins, trolls, or other beasts that may confront you. To help you out, you may find items such as rings, potions, and amulets. Also, meet other warriors (or their corpses) who may be exploring the labyrinth as well.
Proceed with caution through the Labyrinth of Eternity and you may just fulfill your quest in The Immortal.
It is not an RPG. That said, it is one of my favorites games from all systems. This puzzler has everything you want in a NES game: nice graphics, sound effects and lots of collectible items. I wish this game were remade on modern consoles.
I love this game, you'll get to explore in a dungeon. While in the dungeon you'll ecounter trolls, goblins, and all sorts of magical mysteries. This game has good music which you'll be humming to yourself for sure, and the graphics are pretty good.
