I got this printer off CL and it had problems with the image (lots of streaks and poor color quality). Installed these print heads and now it prints crystal clear with nice vivid colors.

It works, almost perfectly!
The product is compatible with my HP printer with a small hiccup that I can live with, considering the price versus a new one from the manufacturer, Walmart, or some other store. I doubt that I'm doing anything wrong but the printer refuses to calibrate and is not recognizing the test sheet. Outside of this relatively small issue it's a great deal.

Leaky Mess, Plotter wouldn't accept
We purchased these printheads as spares for our HP500 plotter. When we installed them a few months afer receiving, the printheads were a leaky mess. Our plotter rejected them. Better spend a few bucks more.

Clean the contacts in printer BEFORE you insert the new one!
Nice sharp image. Don't forget to clean off the excess ink that may have rubbed off on the gold contacts on the back while removing the old one. A Q-tip works great. (a little high percentage Isopropyl Alcohol helps too.) When you remove the old one, try to keep the pressure on the bottom front side toward the front (keeping the ink sludge on the bottom back side away from the gold contacts) The new print head will have some conductive gel on its gold contacts, so don't clean that off.
