The Kyosho Rally Conversion Kit is unique and very cool looking. I wish more brands would offer rally conversions. However, I think it could have been better. Pros: Turns your car into a mild on and off road vehicle; Rally feel with side to side lean; raises your car off the street to clear rocks and road debris Cons: you replace rear lower arms and rear body mount with identical pieces, just with holes drilled in them; flex in rear shock tower as the springs compresses, and rear springs are too soft imo(your car will handle better on pavement in touring form); plastic nuts securing rear shocks to standoffs; rear body mount location was off 1.5mm causing my body post to be off. I am sure with more tuning and more money added to this kit it can be a great performer, but it should have been good for the amount of money I paid. my car is stock and it overpowers this kit. I can only imagine a brushless conversion. If you drive on sandy desert pavement the majority of the time. Add rally tires to the touring chassis and upgrade to sway bars and the car will perform great. That is where I came from. Just my 2 cents. Read full review
