Perfect HBA card
This is a great, reliable HBA card. Unlike other LIS cards (like the 9211), this does not have IR mode and operates exclusively in IT mode. For me, using unRAID, that's perfect, as it doesn't require me to make any firmware changes. I did, however, flash the 9211-8i IT firmware on here, though, just to be current. Just what I needed
The card is exactly what I needed to connect 4 SAS drives to my pc, with room for 4 more when I get a second cable. My only issue was that this card only comes with the shown low profile bracket, however I knew this when I purchased the unit and simply removed the low profile bracket and replaced it with a full height one that would allow it to be screwed in to my case expansion slot properly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
