This kind of racing very similar to old school racing arcades. Game play like F-zero where track has side rails, so you can’t go off edges. You bump the edges and it slightly slow you down, so you still have chance to catch the 1 place with a photo finish. Normal level great to get the hang of driving and honing your drifting. Then hard level will test your drifting and boosting skills, which you will need to be on point to be 1st. Haven’t made it to extreme level yet. I recommend this game, if you looking for simple straight up racing with only boost. Fast pace point A to B, no laps. Hope you enjoy as much as I do.

It’s a Crusin’ game, so either you know the series or don’t, for those that do: I miss some of the old ‘top gear’ like characteristics in older versions but it has some new features; definitely goes off the deep-end in ridiculousness! Kind of would rather play this versus a more serious racing game. For those that aren’t familiar with the series, it’s an over-the-top, get points by doing impossible wheelies and flips and jumps, with no need to use the break button (if it even has one). It’s a much lighter side of a serious racing game meets Mario kart in color schemes with dinosaurs and yetis running around and yet somehow does take some skill if you want to get first place/advance so other stages are unlocked. The tracks are super short unfortunately; kind of like a best time in one lap type of game (I would prefer multiple laps so you get a better feel for the track and do a little better versus just a button-mash-race game). Graphics are flashy and colorful. I’d recommend it if you are looking for that $15-$20 game to re-live some old memories and not get too deep with a game or need a quick time passer just like a game-show style game (easy to put the game down/walk away); good variety fluff game; good for hanging out with your buddies or kids. Not a serious game. Read full review

Cruisin blast is a great game! The gameplay is very addicting! The key to winning races is to use drift, drive over speed arrows, and use your turbo boost wisely. The only drawback is that the AI rubberbanding is a kinda cheap. You could be way ahead of racers and they catch up in no time. You sometimes win races by tenths of a second. It does make the races more exciting though. Overall, Cruisin blast is blast to play and very similar to the arcade racer Cruisin USA. Highly recommend this title! You won't be disappointed!

I like this game a lot because it is over the top. I suspect it does something called rubber-banding. You can google this term and it is something Mario Kart (all versions) does to make itself interesting for experienced and beginner racers. The graphics are good when in portable mode. On a big giant screen, not so much. I enjoy PS3/PS4/PS5/Xbox Series X racers much more on a big screen. The music is catchy and the upgrades are fun. I give it 8 out of 10 the_andyman_can stars. I hope you found this useful.

This is a very nice game in my opinion. I have played this game briefly, so far, but it seems to be a fun game!
