**NOT SELLER’S FAULT** Keyboard is overall decent. Lenovo decided to make replacing the keyboard yourself annoyingly difficult. There are plastic welds that one has to break to remove the old keyboard, and without the materials to re-weld the keyboard, it’s nowhere near as stable (but still usable). In addition, there are next to no videos or instructions online for this particular computer. So DO NOT attempt doing this without someone who knows computers. Would I buy this keyboard again? Probably. Would I replace my own keyboard again? Yes. Is it worth not paying the $200 fee for Lenovo to do it for me? Absolutely.

Note this is the keyboard only for the Flex 5-1470. It is not the complete front assembly: that costs substantially more. The keyboard is not a Field Replaceable Unit (FRU): it is sonic welded to a plastic frame. To replace the keyboard, one must spend about half an hour removing plastic rivet heads with a razor blade. Again, this is not Lenovo approved practice. However for older units that just need a keyboard to get along, it's fine. Consequently, think about using a USB or Bluetooth mouse and keyboard instead. Fit perfectly. Light and keys worked out of the box. Customer is happy. Cheers.
