Our 75 lb 16 year old Cattahoula can’t jump anymore and my husband has back double so we decided to give this ramp a try. We have only used it once and even though it wasn’t a smooth walk at first try it was so much better on the dog and my husband. It was easier going down the ramp compared to going up. One hint is to lead your dog to the ramp with their leash and don’t rush. Let them process the situation for a minute before beginning. I’m anxious to see how it goes next time. Also it helps to have someone on each side of the ramp. It’s a learning process. The ramp is made well. A little steeper than I expected but happy we bought it.

This dog ramp is as advertised. It seems sturdy enough for my 19 lb dog; could probably handle more weight (see description for weight limitations). It is quite slippery. I purchased and applied self-adhesive no-slip strips to provide adequate traction. I think it's a bit overpriced for what it probably cost to produce, but that's just me. My dog is a timid, fearful 15 yr-old puppy mill rescue with arthritic hips, and has fallen attempting to navigate the 2 tall steps to our deck. Nonetheless, because anything different from his routine frightens him, he refuses to use the ramp. A confident dog raised in a healthy, happy environment might not shy away from using it.

we have a big dog of 120 pds and this ramp works for him. i would not recommend it for anything heavier as he just barely can use it. the only improvement i would love to see is a non slip coating on the treds as he still slips a little. he is 14 yr old husky mix.

It’s not heavy duty but it’s perfect for what I need. It’s very lightweight, folds up reasonably small, and so long as you keep any part of your hand out of the joint when you open it, (haha) It does the job. I use it for putting mine 60 pound Ebike in the back of my van and help my dog in and out of my travel trailer

Well made. Lightweight. I have two german shepherd puppies 70lb each. Thiscramp is 99% impossible for them to use. Good size, but there is nothing that offers them traction. Has ridges, but needs carpet or "utility rug surface." We literally cannot use it. Their toenails get caught in ridges, they can't get a grip at all. Also, it is not very secure on the van. Slips around. Awful. I need to return it, but we gave it the "college try." Does NOT work, and now prob too late to return.
