Good replacement radiator for older Ford E-150
The original radiator in my Ford E-150 gave up the ghost after more than 20 years. Estimates from local radiator shops reached from 'We do not repair those junk radiators" to It will cost you 350 dollars IF we can repair it".
I found a brand new replacement radiator in Florida for the surprising price of $ 86.50 with free shipping. That is by far the best price I found despite searching far and wide.
The radiator looked exactly like the original. Identical materials and dimensions. It fit exactly. It also came with most of the required hardware for installation.
I have had the radiator in the car now for about two weeks. That is too short to say anything about how it will stand up to the rigors of daily commutes. But I am confident that it will.
Any negatives?
Not that I know yet. Though the installation of the new radiator took only a short time, I had to endure a long wait. Unfortunately, the radiator arrived in my town on a Saturday. It was delivered only on the following Monday.
Nobody's fault but my own. I should have ordered a day earlier.
But, consider this: I paid about 87 dollars for it instead f anywhere from $ 150 to $ 350 at a radiator shop. Even a repair of my old one would have been more expensive.
Great buy, good quality product. I give it a five star rating.
