Maybe I got a lemon
Speaker blew after just a week and a half of usage. I was running 75% power. I expected a much better quality sub coming from Rockford. But, just like anything else, there are lemons mixed in. I just happen to be the one who got one. The box is well constructed and the built in amp does a decent job powering the sub. Even though it's a measly 300 watt system. I have had many systems in my life, been in competitions and the sound was actually better than expected. This is a good buy if you are looking for an easy to install, all in one system that won't rattle your car to pieces. I do recommend this product. Perfect in my old pickup truck!
Great powered subwoofer! I installed in a 1970 C10 pickup. This amp drives the bass and is very crisp and punchy. The remote gain control is a nice feature that enables you to adjust bass on the fly depending on your music or mood.
