I have 300 Clover Wonder Clips. I use them when making quilts to help hold the outside edge binding in place. The Clover Wonder Clips hold well and stay in place. I unfortunately also bought some Wonder Clips that were advertised as Clover Wonder Clips off Ebay, but they were not. They were imitations. You can tell the imitations by looking at the metal clip. The Clover Wonder Clips metal clips are rounded on the corners, while the imitations are squared off. On the edge of the Clover Wonder Clips, there are two round bumps on the lower jaw that fit into indents in the upper jaw, and then there are two round bumps on the upper jaw that fit into indents on the lower jaw. The imitations also have thee, but the bumps are not nearly as pronounced, which causes them to move around and not grip well at all. Do not buy the imitations. You will be sorry. Spend the extra money and purchase the genuine Clover Wonder Clips. Here's another example of how I used these clips. I purchased a full size fitted sheet at a garage sale to make a sheet for my granddaughter's pack-n-play. The sheet I bought in the store were too tight after they were washed. I set up my cutting mat on the bar top, stretched the elastic edge out straight, and use the Clover Wonder Clips to hold the edge down. Then I used my rotary cutter to quickly and evenly cut off the elastic. They held great. The imitations would not stay in place, and let the elastic edge move. I can't believe that I took so long to purchase these clips. They are a great time saver.Read full review

Excellent quality item. I use the clips to hold the fabric in place when I hem pants. It's much more convenient than using pins. These are especially helpful for those of us with arthritis in our hands. I have difficulty using pins on denim, so I can't hem jeans without the clips. I have enough now to use when I hem several pairs of jeans at a time.

If you are new to knitting or crocheting, these small clips are a must. I use them as markers to make sure item patterns are equal on both sides. They are stronger than you might think. After all, they are made by Clover which is known for quality.

I use these clips not only for sewing but for hanging Christmas lights from the soffits. When it comes to taking the lights down, I just give them a yank and down they come with the clips still attached and ready for hanging next Christmas. Love these clips!

These clips work in situations where pins might not, for example with thick fabric or many layers of fabric, bulky materials such as batting or foam. They are visible so you can remove them as you go.

These are great! Especially good when sewing fabrics that are a tight weave and hard to insert pins.
