Not sure whether this CCI copper performs any better than the Sunon copper I had previously, but neither the CPU or GPU are thermal throttling. But I am using Conductonaut now, where previously I was using Kryonaut, so I was expecting it to be good. The CCI version is a little less finished than the Sunon one, there's some minor padding missing around the exhaust fins and less black tape, but I don't know whether it impacts the thermal performance. It simply looks less premium.

I had to install it with the fan attached. It didn't want to fit otherwise. Also needed to take some plastic from previous fan to get it to fit properly. But after that it went in and seems to be a good fit. Preapplied thermal paste missed the cpu lid by about a third so needed to be removed and reapplied. None of this was a big deal. The heatsink itself is beautiful. And with a little effort fits and works great.

Item is as described though not actually the same as original (fan vent on casing varies) but had same part number. Was able to install the fans in my M17xR3. Do check your original fans. Those installed in mine were rated 3.2 CFM (CPU) and 5.5 CFM (GPU) and these are both 10.55CFM. More efficient, for sure. But when these babies kick in, they aren’t exactly quiet.
